The RINOs focused on attacking the non-establishment candidate Vivek. They do not like a non-member of their club speaking openly and taking risks. They are more concerned about Vivek than they are America. They want to operate within the narrow confines of RINO ideals and Faux News narratives. Vivek, no threat to win anything, grabs a few percent right off the start due to his straightforward speaking.

Trump did well in Michigan. He hit the EV issue hard, then he went into trade policy, other things, and would come back to the EVs again. He highlighted Obama and Biden making fake promises about trade negotiations, where he redid NAFTA easily.
