Democrats Won’t Leave Us Alone -They’re Coming for Lightbulbs

Joe Biden, acting in his role as a dictator, has begun to enforce lightbulb bans nationwide via a rule instead of going through Congress. Democrats are a threat to democracy. Without Democrats, how would we know what lightbulb to buy?

Biden’s bright idea

Under the Department of Energy’s (DOE) regulations, manufacturers and retailers will be prohibited from selling incandescent and similar halogen light bulbs which represent a sizable share of current light bulb supplies. Instead, manufacturers and retailers must sell light-emitting diode, or LED, alternatives or risk substantial federal penalties.

“It’s impossible for Democrats to leave us alone. States must fight back,” Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., tweeted ahead of the ban enforcement.

“President Biden continues to push liberal fantasies through his weaponized federal agencies,” Rep. Andy Barr, R-Ky., added. “The Department of Energy should be focused on American energy independence, not on what lightbulbs you can or can’t purchase for your home or business.”

As usual, the Granholm DOE claims it will save us billions every year.

THIS LIGHTBULB RULE IS BAD FOR THE EARTH, DUMMIES

It’s not about the Earth. It’s about power and control.

  1. The regulations are just plain wrong. It is totalitarian.
The United States prospered with a free market economy.
A company sold its products by convincing customer of the advantages of their products for that individual customer.
I live about the same distance from the equator as the southern suburbs of Miami Florida. Solar panels make economic sense for me. In Ann Arbor where graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science, not so much, Should I insist people in Ann Arbor must install solar panels? LED’s save me a considerable amount of money and thus also protect valuable earth resources from being wasted, but I use because it is my choice. EV pickups? No thanks! not cost efficient, not practical for rural areas! nd are losing Ford a tremendous amounts of money.
I fear those who want to micro manage everything, because when thy make a mistake it damages so many lives. We need to get back to a market driven economy. I can agree to the necessity of speed limits, but don’t tell me how fast I can walk.
