I gave up on the debate. The candidates are worried about everyone except those who vote for them – white men, white Republican men, working-class men. It was frenetic, with no one having time to think because they had too many people on the stage who couldn’t win.
If they think black people will vote for them in large numbers, they’re nuts—it’s time to abandon that one. Focusing on slavery is silly.
The GOP strategists who guide these candidates think the same old agenda and tactics will work as our country falls into ruin over identity politics, weaponization of government against political enemies, and stamping down of our rights, especially free speech. J6 rioters are in prison for a decade or more, while killers get 3 to 7 years in prison in many of our major cities.
At least Nikki Haley has her priorities straight as the country blows up – TikTok is very dangerous (sarcasm). She had a useless job as a UN ambassador and thinks that’s foreign policy experience.
Republicans need to shut up about abortion. It’s unwinnable on a federal level. It is not a federal issue, and we got it out of the Constitution — leave it to the states. Fight at the state level.
This next clip was good – we must end the war since we can’t afford it on any level. We’re borrowing from China to make the munitions we send to Ukraine. Poland pulled out of Ukraine. We need to do the same:

DeSantis was good on crime. He said for DAs and Mayors not keeping their people safe, he thinks he can lodge civil rights charges against them and remove them. That was brilliant.
Ron DeSantis is the only person on that stage who gets things done. Fox didn’t ask him a question for quite a while. Why?

A funny moment came when Tim Scott said all the money we’re giving Ukraine is a LOAN! Seriously? He thinks they’re going to pay it back. He also answered a question about firing UAW workers by jumping to slavery.

The contestants were risk aversive and operated within narrow lines. To be so coached in that way shows they are controlled.
Adamshitthead Christie’s problem with Trump is the he was sure that after being elected President Trump would appoint him to some important government position, which Trump wisely did not do, and Christie has had his shorts all in a knot about that ever since.
Dismissing Vivek is folly. His only drawback is his lack of political experience, which is also a strength. We need appeal to America’s youth and a sustained zeal for MAGA/America First. The other candidates are not only out of touch with young Americans, they treat them with the same disrespect they display for Vivek.
Vivek adds some life to the debate, and he says some Trump-like things. The rest of the contestants detest him. Vivek is not in their club, neither is Trump. When the contestants vent at Vivek, instead of on the destruction of America which is underway, they again reveal themselves.
What a joke the Republican party establishment is….None of these people are fit to be the president of the USA let alone be an office holder….

The 2 fun things now are that the GOP has to accept Trump as the candidate or be destroyed, and the dems want Biden to quit though he has no intention of doing so.

Who was that woman with the most idiotic question ever, on a debate no less. Did they just pull her off some entertainment show. She should feel shame and embarrassment in reducing it to such a low level. Everyone ought to mock and humiliate her for such idiocy.
I consider DeSantis too self-serving once he had the Legislature modify the law just so he could run. I consider that to be a serious character flaw. It would appear he became so full of himself once the nation started showing support. I suspect the others want to be addressed as “former Presidential candidate” while on a speaking tour.
