Tucker Might Take Other Fox Hosts With Him

Fox News has lost between 1 million to 1.6 million viewers after firing Tucker Carlson, who was possibly fired as part of the deal to end the Dominion lawsuit. The network seems content to pay Tucker his $20 million pre year salary for the next year-and-a-half to keep him off the air. He is still under contract to Fox and technically not fired.

Tucker has a top lawyer who told Fox they reneged on the contract, and Tucker is moving ahead with his own plans.

Tucker has already planned a Twitter version of his show, seemingly broadcasting from his a barn at his Maine home. He is currently renovating it after Fox removed all their equipment, even the interior walls.

He could lose his audience if Fox keeps him off the air long enough. According to an article in Variety on May 16th, he plans to air in a month or two.

Fox Might Lose Their Primetime Hosts

With his senior executive producer Justin Wells on board, Team Carlson is working quickly to broadcast his first show on Twitter from Maine.

Variety reports, “Carlson’s Twitter move could have additional reverberations with talent at the network. According to sources, a handful of Fox anchors have reached out to Carlson directly or had their surrogates contact him to say they are eager to join whatever venture he starts on Twitter when their contracts are up.

Variety says Tucker is in frequent contact with Elon Musk and has been in touch with Don Lemon and Megyn Kelly. He has plans to appear on her show.

If other Fox personalities want to join him, he could be bigger than Fox News.

When Tucker explained that the replacement theory is real, he was vilified for his comments, but it is happening in this country and other Western countries. Few people are talking about it and it is the most devastating threat to the United States right now.

The media is not telling us the truth. Whatever faults Tucker may have, he appears to be committed to getting the truth, as he sees it, out to the public.

If the Murdochs won’t do it, he will and other top Fox personalities might jump on board with him.

  1. Faux spent $787 million to fund election crimes. It has no problem spending $20 million to silence Tucker. Faux will sue after the first Tucker broadcast. It will want a court order to cease during the trial.

Tucker can draw an audience and will need to pay twitter lots for providing the infrastructure to support a millions online viewers.

People like Hannity and the nighttime comedy show folks will not want to leave Faux, they are making so much money, and they have nothing to offer outside. Bringing Faux personalities would tarnish the new Tucker show.

Tucker won’t lose his audience. I hope he doesn’t do twitter if there’s no video with his dialogue. I prefer watching than listening. We’ll see what happens!

  3. Remember what happened to the BBC when they fired Jeremy Clarkson? Dropped my BBC subscription and followed the Top Gear Crew over to Amazon Prime for the Grand Tour.

I never saw FOX as worth paying a subscription for, but I would subscribe to Tucker if for no other reason than to give FOX the Finger. Tucker could easily put together something like Steve Bannon’s War Room or Rush Limbaugh’s Show and I would pay for that. I think in today’s media market Tucker Carlson could do two hours and have the Draw of of a Rush Limbaugh Audience.

Ideally, I would like to see 4 hours a day of relevant news programming with two to four personalities and it would be a hit if available on demand. At a cost of $5 with commercials or $10 commercial free a month, I think Tucker could draw 2 million viewers a day. Done right, 20 million viewers a week with weekend catching up viewers. Add people like Sean Hannity, Steve Hilton, Tammy Bruce, Greg Gutfeld, Kat Timpf, Tyrus, etc. and FOX will be smaller than CNN.

  4. it could be because generally don’t watch TV or fox except in big national tragic events. But don’t really see anyone worthy at fox to be a tag along.
